Injective Enters Web3 Gaming
DEGA is a no-code platform launched in November 2022, gaining traction relatively fast in the Web3 gaming world due to its simplicity of use. Its use of AI enables developers to create, publish, and monetize games on blockchain protocols. It is deployed on Ethereum, Cardano, BNBCHAIN, and now on Injective.
The new partnership is a step forward for the blockchain protocol as it enters the world of Web3 gaming.
DEGA will enable builders to rapidly design and publish games using Injective’s groundbreaking infrastructure,” the protocol stated.
Web3 gaming, while one of the hardest-hit sectors in the crypto market, appears to be making a comeback as several high-profile protocols are employing new technologies to enhance the development of GameFi projects.
For instance, Ronin Network, the blockchain behind Axie Infinity, recently integrated a zkEVM tech stack to scale Web3 gaming. The blockchain also reached a milestone by reaching 1.5 million active addresses.
Another example is Illuvium, which recently announced the launch date of its cross-chain blockchain game universe.
