Global crypto exchange and Web3 infrastructure provider OKX has officially expanded its partnership with SUI Network, enhancing its wallet’s capabilities to fully support SUI-based assets and applications.
According to an X post from OKX, the collaboration will bring deeper integration, enabling users to seamlessly manage SUI holdings, interact with decentralized applications (dApps), and participate in exclusive reward programs. OKX Wallet’s continued expansion into the SUI ecosystem is part of its broader strategy to strengthen multichain accessibility.
The Technology Behind the Partnership
Sui Network is a next-generation Layer-1 blockchain designed for high-speed transactions and scalable decentralized applications. Unlike traditional blockchains, Sui leverages parallel execution, enabling faster processing and reduced congestion. Built with the Move programming language, it ensures efficiency and security while supporting DeFi, gaming, and NFT ecosystems.
The network is powered by $SUI, its native token, used for transactions, staking, and governance. Developed by Mysten Labs, a team of former Meta engineers, Sui has secured major backing from a16z and other major investors.
The new integration brings several advantages for OKX Wallet users, allowing them to store, send, and receive SUI tokens directly through the wallet with enhanced security features. Additionally, users will be able to interact with SUI-based dApps, enabling DeFi trading, staking, and NFT transactions.
