San Francisco (US), 13 nov (EFE).- The cornerback of the San Francisco 49ers, Richard Sherman, who has played in a single match this year, will not return to the lineup for the game in the tenth week of the team in New Orleans, but until the tenth second, against the Rams in Los Angeles.
Kyle Shanahan, head coach, told reporters Friday that Sherman is not ready to play.
“He did a good job,” said Shanahan, but he added that “(He) was able to practice three days on the scout team. If we were to do so, we may encourage it, but it would not be the smart thing to do. So what we will have breaks this week and we’ll be good to go against the Rams”.
Sherman will miss his ninth game on Sunday, which will cost 62.500 for each lost game, a total of 562.500.
Has also lost, in practice, an incentive of a million dollars by participating in at least 90 percent of the defensive plays of the team in 2020, together with an incentive of a million to be part of the team Pro Bowl, and another two million for being named to the first-or second-team All-Pro.
The cost of the injury would be of a little more than four and a half million.
An so will earn eight million in salary and up to 437.500 in bonuses roster per game.
