The property underwent a full refurbishment, with new electrics, paint and furniture in order to get it up to scratch for visitors in 2022. The main house was originally built around 1850 and in the 1990’s the outbuildings were converted into a one bedroom self contained annex.

The house and annex are situated in a very peaceful lane in the Peterstow countryside, however the location is still very well connected to the the market town of Ross-On-Wye (10 mins drive) and Hereford (20 mins drive). There are views of the countryside from every window and the house is far enough away from the nearest neighbours to provide a high level of privacy. There are many places to visit in the local area suitable for walkers, children and adults.

The holiday cottage is available for hire and has 4 bedrooms inside the main house plus a self contained 1 bedroom annex with kitchen/living area. All of the house and separate self contained annex are available. Guests are able to access the whole property privately including the gardens.

Since being listed on Airbnb the property has been been awarded the coveted Superhost status showing the commitment the team have towards their guests. With a rating of 4.95 from over 20 bookings, no cancellations and 100% response rate, Field Cottage offers a high level of service.

Just up the road, there’s great home cooked food at the Red Lion pub. Cider lovers can get a tour at Ross Cider or drink in The Yew Tree pub. Pengethley Farm Shop is also nearby with loads of local food and drink plus a great cafe in the garden centre.
