Penang, Malaysia, 7th Sep 2023 – The highly anticipated list of the Top 30 Semi-Finalists for the 2023 JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (CYEA) has been unveiled. The announcement was made during a momentous event held on 2 September 2023 at MASCO Co-Working Spacing Prangin Mall, showcasing the exceptional young entrepreneurs who have demonstrated remarkable creativity, innovation, and dedication in their ventures.

This announcement event was organized by JCI Butterworth City. Notable dignitaries and industry leaders attended the event to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of these young entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the event, YB Daniel Gooi, Penang State Exco for Youth, Sports & Health emphasized the significance of nurturing young entrepreneurial talent. “In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, the youth are proving to be instrumental in driving innovation and growth within the business community. The CYEA platform serves as an avenue to celebrate and encourage their exceptional contributions.”
The Organizing Chairman of JCI CYEA, Edwin Phang, highlighted the theme for this year’s awards, stating, “Under the theme ‘Creativity Without Limits’ we are encouraging young entrepreneurs to embrace their creativity and pursue their dreams fearlessly.”
Following the announcement, the Semi-Finalists will undergo interviews, from which the Top 10 Finalists and eventual 3 winners will be selected. The result will be announced at the awards ceremony scheduled for 23 September 2023 at The Ship Campus Batu Kawan.
