Unlike the traditional universe, the Metaverse decentralizes activity and supports peer-to-peer (P2P) interactions in ways that the traditional universe cannot. But just like the traditional universe, the Metaverse is not defined by the games that are played in it, the technologies that support it, but by the human interactions that drive it. 

TheYard.gg builds playgrounds for existing communities in the Metaverse and supplies platforms and services that support P2P interactions, whether play, work or transactional.

Instead of defining people’s behavior within the emerging digital world, we are providing simple solutions that allow people to self-determine their behavior.  

STAKE, being released in the first quarter of 2023 by TheYard.gg, is one of those platforms.  STAKE is a cloud-based engine that facilitates self-defined player interaction and legal P2P wagering and allows STAKE community members to engage and to define community though self-defined rewards system for play. 

STAKE will be built on the UMG Gaming foundation that was purchased by Harena Data, a subsidiary of The Yard.GG and will create a safe space for video gaming fans to compete in games of skill against each other. Players can propose wagers, accept wagers and competitions and then compete directly with other players. 

STAKE is building upon success and a user base of 2.5 million players but its aim is to be the P2P platform that has the widest base of games offered and to the widest base of users in order diversify competition sand to create real community around game play
