Jerusalem, 14 jun (EFE).- The work in the office of the residence of the president of Israel, Reuvén Rivlin, has been suspended today and the building will be disinfected thoroughly, after detected three cases of coronavirus among the employees.
“On Saturday, Beit HaNasi (the residence) was informed that one of its employees tested positive for coronavirus. After the announcement, we are carrying out consultations with the Ministry of Health about what other employees will be subject to quarantine and the implications for the president Rivlin”, eighty years of age, reported the spokesman of the president.
The public radio Kan said today that the head of State will not quarantine, as that was not in direct contact with any of the infected.
After detecting the first case, it was confirmed that three security guards were found to be positive by COVID-19, although all of them are working outside of the residential building, at the access gates and checkpoints, and had not been within the same.
The prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was also tested again recently tested by the COVID-19, and it came back negative.
Israel, which imposed strong restrictive measures in the primermos moments of the disease, has suffered a coronavirus very moderate in comparison with european countries, with 300 dead and some 18,000 are infected, according to the official count.
The past month began a rapid desescalada and, although it has not backtracked on measures of return-to-normal, yes that has ceased to move in it, as I went up the detected cases. For the moment, kept the borders closed to foreigners, except some cases, which forces you to stay two weeks in quarantine at their arrival, to avoid possible infection.
