Support Scott’s Journey: A Hero’s Fight Against a Brain Tumor | Stand Strong Together GoFundMe Veteran Campaign

Jacksonville, Florida – June 12, 2024 – A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support “Scott’s Journey: Standing Strong Together, A Hero’s Fight Against a Brain Tumor.” In life’s tapestry, there are moments that test our resolve, challenging us to dig deep and find strength we never knew we had. For Scott, a veteran business owner, devoted husband, and loving father, such a moment has arrived.

Scott is facing a craniotomy to remove a large 2.6 cm (about 1.02 in, over the size of a quarter) unknown mass, a daunting procedure that requires not just physical courage, but the unwavering support of his family and community. As he prepares to navigate this uncertain terrain, he’s counting on us to stand by his side.

Scott knew very early on that he wanted to serve his country. Joining the Navy right out of high school, he learned sacrifice and dedication as a foundation. The Navy afforded Scott many opportunities to grow, learn and lead.

Scott was often found going above and beyond the call of duty. He provided professional development advice to those he led and obtained his CPR Instructor Certificate. Personally, you’d find him involved in community-focused initiatives, such as mentoring and tutoring local high school students. As a Chief, Scott was always invested in his troops, both professionally and personally. Scott carried this attitude through his naval career and into his civilian life.

During his deployment onboard the USS Lincoln during Desert Storm’s “Shock and Awe,” Scott grappled with the harsh reality of sacrifice. As he served his country with unwavering dedication, he missed countless precious moments with his family. Despite the distance and the passage of time, his love for his family remained steadfast, a beacon of hope amidst the storm of uncertainty.

As a 23-year Navy veteran, Scott has already demonstrated incredible courage and resilience in the face of adversity. Now, as he faces this new battle, it’s our turn to show him the same unwavering support he has always shown us.

Despite being deployed for much of his children’s childhood, Scott always made every moment count when he was home. With a deep commitment to his family, he created cherished memories during those precious reunions. Whether it was a simple game of catch in the backyard, a family movie night filled with laughter, or a heartfelt conversation over dinner, Scott ensured that each moment was filled with love. Despite the challenges of military life and the demands of his service, his children always knew they were cherished.

As Scott confronts the daunting challenge of brain surgery, we rally around him, ready to provide the support and strength he so selflessly gave to our nation, his company, and the community. Countless individuals have been touched by Scott’s kindness, generosity, and leadership. His impact on the community is undeniable, and now it’s time for us to come together and show him how much he means to all of us.

Scott’s dedication to his business goes beyond mere profit; he has created countless job opportunities, providing not just employment, but a sense of purpose and belonging. By supporting Scott, we’re not just helping one individual; we’re preserving a legacy of empowerment and opportunity for generations to come.

Scott has also invested significant time and effort into educating the future workforce of drone technology, teaching, and training thousands of individuals. His passion for education and his commitment to sharing his knowledge have had a profound impact on countless lives, shaping the future of an entire industry.

But Scott’s journey doesn’t end with the operating room. In the weeks and months ahead, he will need extra financial support to ease the burden of this challenging time. Your donation can make a real difference in helping Scott and his family navigate this journey with grace and dignity.

No matter how big or small, your donation is not just a lifeline; it’s a salute to our hero, a recognition of his unwavering dedication to both country and community. Together, let’s stand strong with Scott, as he faces this new challenge with the same courage and resolve that defined his service to our nation.

Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and unwavering support for Scott and his family. Together, we can help Scott write the next chapter of his journey—a chapter filled with strength, resilience, and unwavering determination.
