Corona-Born on the training market? The government wants to prevent that. The Left in the Bundestag sees the biggest task, but for others.

In view of problems on the training market by the Corona-crisis, the Left calls on the Bundestag companies, on demand training.

“Despite falling numbers of applicants, many young people are in danger again this year in the training market empty-handed,” said the Left-labour market expert, Sabine Zimmermann, the German press Agency in Berlin. “As a result of Corona it could be, unfortunately, even more than in the previous years,” Zimmermann continues. “This must be avoided at all costs.”

In fact, many in the search for a training course can’t find it. In July of 2020, according to the Federal employment Agency (BA) 144.359 unplaced applicants, this was 4.3 percent more than the same time last Year. The new training market for the month of August, the BA published figures with the employment figures on 1. September 2020. This Thursday, the German Confederation of trade unions (DGB) wants to submit a training report.
