Russian, December 31, 2020, Roman Abramovitch, infamous Russian billionaire and owner of the worldwide known Chelsea football club has made an investment deal with the largest online investment fund Solomartel. The deal was an investment of 17 mil $ in 5 Solomartel equity funds operating in the United states and composed of commercial and residential properties. The funds will operate properties across the growing and emerging markets of the United States and will include various types of properties, from residential single-family homes and apartment complexes to large malls and office buildings. The investment was qualified by Abramovich as a “test transaction” after which Abramovitch plans on making many more deals with Solomartel. According to sources close to the Russian billionaire, Abramovitch would be interested in investing about 80 million $ more into Solomartel funds which he qualified as some of the best real estate investment opportunities available on the market right now. The Russian billionaire also expressed interest in a Solomartel fund which will open soon in Cyprus and which could qualify him for the obtention of Cypriot citizenship.
