ObzeKorea Inc. Helps Explain How to Manufacture Cosmetics in Korea

Korean skincare products are becoming popular worldwide, leading to a growing demand for manufacturing in Korea. Korean BeautyTech startup, ObzeKorea Inc., has announced the launch of BeautyWorks scheduled for March 1, 2024. BeautyWorks is a cosmetics manufacturing platform for global brands.

BeautyWorks’ founder, Sehee Kim

BeautyWorks’ founder, Sehee Kim(CallmeKim), a big beauty blogger in Korea, had been reviewing over 50 new skincare products monthly since her university days. Seeing small Korean startup brands achieve big success globally, she was inspired to dream of launching her own cosmetics brand. However, she had a failed attempt to start her own brand with $10,000 gathered from her influencer activities.

She realized many problems for newcomers in the Korean manufacturing industry like overwhelming information, unreasonable pricing, slow responses, and high minimum order quantities (MOQs). In response, she founded a skincare manufacturing company in Jeollabuk-do, Korea, obtained ISO22716 certification, and gained recognition as a Korean venture enterprise. To address problems in the manufacturing process, BeautyWorks platform was developed.

BeautyWorks focuses on the Indian market by developing skincare products for brands like SUGAR Cosmetics’ new brand Quench and 10 other Indian skincare companies. The founder, CallmeKim, emphasizes India’s rapid growth and infinite potential, expressing the intent to focus on expanding services in the Indian market.
