Swierczek, this was the starting point of their incredible journey that would culminate in the creation of JFI Productions, an industry-leading entertainment production company and creative development incubator.

From the outset, the mission of JFI Productions has been to reinvent interactive entertainment across immersive theater, experiential live events, and film, with the goal of continuously creating human connection and conversation through storytelling. As the founders of the company, both Justin and J.T. are passionate about creating an environment where everyone is on the same playing field, regardless of their background. JFI Productions’ slate features original immersive theater productions, including the critically acclaimed Creep LA, The Willows, and Night Fever, among others. Additionally, the company has worked with some of the most imaginative minds in the industry, including Universal, Amazon, FX, Blumhouse, Peacock, Netflix, Overbrook, to create creative experiences and live activations that push the boundaries of what is possible.

JFI’s shows are so in demand that they sell out in minutes, and guests have included famous personalities such as Billie Eilish, Will Smith, Anna Kendrick, Chrissy Teigen, Jordan Peele, Demi Moore, and Olivia Wilde, among others. JFI’s shows have also partnered with local charities to give back to the local arts community, with True Connection, Art of Elysium, Beautify Earth, and Inner City Arts being some beneficiaries. 

Despite their success, JFI Productions faced a number of significant challenges along the way, including the death of both Justin’s and J.T. ‘s fathers, as well as the significant financial burden of self-funding a production company in one of the most expensive cities in the world. However, the company has persevered, driven by the belief that it is possible to make a difference and to create a unique space within the industry.

As Justin and J.T. both attest, it is essential to carve your own path and to be comfortable with not always having the answers. Above all, they believe that it is essential to stick to your values, and to let them drive your company. For JFI Productions, this means holding true to the belief that “you just need to be good human, spread joy, stay true to your word, hold each other accountable and ensure that everyone’s voice is heard within each project.” Moreover, the company has a strict “no asshole policy” when it comes to hiring, fostering an environment of mutual respect and trust.
