Facebook – tax in France – economy

Facebook has agreed in the tax dispute with France to a payment of more than 100 million euros. “We take our tax obligations seriously,” said a spokesman for the company on Monday, according to the memo. The French subsidiary of the Internet giant has declared that it is, therefore, to make a payment of 106 million euros – the Payment relates to the years 2009 to 2018. “This year, we will pay to 8.46 million euros in income tax, an increase of almost 50 percent compared to last year,” the company said.
