Catizen Gaming Platform Launches in July

The popular Telegram-based city-building game Catizen, boasting over 23 million active players, is making waves in the crypto space.

They’ve announced a dedicated gaming platform and an airdrop event, both launching in July 2024 as it plans to unveil 200+ mini-games, evolving Catizen from a single mini-game to a game center, which may unite over 100 million players.

Catizen to Expand to Gaming Hub for Millions of Users

The new platform promises a more robust user experience, potentially attracting even more players. Catizen is planning an airdrop with details yet to be revealed to celebrate the launch and reward their loyal community. The coming months will be exciting as the platform launches and the airdrop unfolds, shaping the future of gamified crypto experiences. With a dedicated daily user count of over 3.4 million, Catizen proves its ability to attract and retain players.

Furthermore, over 1.3 million users have actively engaged with the game’s blockchain features, generating 14.2 million on-chain transactions.

This dedication to player experience ensures the game continues to evolve and meet user needs. Additionally, the 11,032 heartwarming stories shared between players and their beloved in-game cats are a heartwarming sign of the game’s positive impact.

Moreover, Catizen is expanding its Launchpool platform, originally exclusive to its project, to include other ventures within the P2E ecosystem. This move fosters collaboration and growth within the play-to-earn space.

TON Blockchain in the Web3 Gaming World

The TON blockchain and its native token have become one of the most anticipated projects in 2024. According to Coin98 Analytics experts, using the TON blockchain and crypto wallets such as TON Wallet, Tonkeeper, TONPAY, etc., opens up decentralized finance (DeFi) and GameFinance (GameFi) prospects.

Meanwhile, Injective has partnered with DEGA, an AI-powered gaming platform. The partnership allows builders to design and deploy GameFi projects on blockchain. DEGA announced the partnership through an X post, claiming that next-generation GameFi platforms will arrive at Injective.

In other news, the Arbitrum DAO is considering a proposal to create a $200 million Gaming Catalyst Program. This program would dedicate roughly $150 million to directly invest in game developers and studios building on Arbitrum and distribute the remaining amount as grants.
