Aptos to Deploy Aave V3 on the Mainnet

The Aptos Foundation has put forward a proposal to launch Aave V3 on its mainnet. Aptos is contacting the Aave governance community to gather feedback on this initiative.

At this early stage, the foundation actively seeks input to refine and progress the project. Gathering community feedback is essential to steer the future course and ensure the effective implementation of Aave V3 on the Aptos mainnet.

Aptos Foundation Moves Forward with Aave V3 Deployment Proposal

After initial discussions within the Aave governance community, the Aptos Foundation is advancing its proposal to introduce Aave V3 on the Aptos mainnet. The proposal is set to proceed to a “snapshot” vote, marking a pivotal step towards potential implementation.

If approved, it will evolve into an Aave Request for Comments (ARC) proposal, facilitating detailed deliberations on asset parameters and implementation specifics. Subsequently, the proposal aims to transition into an official Aave Improvement Proposal (AIP) after rigorous testing and auditing processes, supported by ongoing audits sponsored by the Aptos Foundation.

Aave Labs has already completed integration code deployment on the Aptos testnet, laying the groundwork for potential mainnet integration. Once finalized, the deployment of Aave V3 holds the promise of significant platform enhancements, although specific changes and their potential impact are yet to be fully detailed.

Throughout this process, the Aptos Foundation remains dedicated to transparency, pledging continuous updates to the community as the proposal advances toward fruition.
