Annual Pickleball Convention Returns to South Florida

Miami, FL – In 2021, the National Pickleball Expo made its debut in South Florida to a tune of 70 exhibitors and approximately 1,800 attendees during a two-day show when pickleball was just beginning its unprecedented growth. Since then, quite a few things have changed in pickleball as well as the expo.

Pickleball has since expanded its reach, going from an estimated 1.5 million players to over 38 million having played this year.  There are now more pickleball players than golf and tennis combined. Additionally, the National Pickleball Expo’s fifth event has almost doubled year over year to having almost 6,000 attendees at the Las Vegas Convention Center. As a result, they are now the official convention of pickleball.

The Convention now returns triumphantly to South Florida in June of 2025, and already has already gained such mega sponsors as American Express, Delta Airlines and UBER, who will be offering everyone within a twenty-mile radius, a free ride to the convention.

In addition, to the presenting sponsors, a new activewear apparel company, Swing Sports, will be sponsoring the 2025 Activewear Fashion show, where they will be unveiling new fashions to the growing pickleball audience.  The runway fashion show is held directly on the show floor.

“There will be something for everyone at the pickleball expo,” said Don Wallace, spokesperson for the World Pickleball Convention. “Attendees will range from individuals and families who have never played, all the way up to advanced and pro players. The expo is heralding big discounts on everything from equipment, apparel, pickleball vacations, communities, instruction, and much more. There is even an on-site championship tournament taking place directly on the floor of the expo with twenty courts erected for the event. If it has anything to do with pickleball, it will be there,” continued Wallace.

In addition to the show floor, a full on-site conference will support over fifty pickleball industry leaders presenting key notes and panel conversations affecting the future of the sport.

The company is now in talks with the American Dream Mall, the world’s largest entertainment and retail complex to produce a consumer-only pickleball expo and tournament inside the mall.
